Brave and Thankful

My family was very brave this past weekend. We have shared our story with the world. We are asking for help. We are asking for fairness. We are asking for everyone to realize that the broken immigration system is tearing apart families just like ours. We are sad, angry, depressed, bitter, jealous, annoyed, scared, prideful, thankful. Since we have told our story we have met many help people. These people would not have crossed our paths if we had stayed in our shadows.
